2023-2024 Trials
We are proud to say that our club has a place for EVERYONE across all different levels. From people with little to no experience all the way up to past competitive skaters. We want everyone to feel welcome on our team and like there is a place for them to meet new people, learn new skills and grow. Our trial sessions are NOT there to test people or cut people from the team. They are there to give people an idea of what the sessions will look like and make sure everyone gets placed on the sessions best suited to them.
To help cover ice costs, each trial session is $5.

Winter Trials
Freeskate Gold
+ Freeskate Silver Intermediate + Skills

FSI: Must have completed all star 4 tests. Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis at the discretion of the captains.

FG: APPROXIMATELY Star 6/7 and up. Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis at the discretion of the captains

11:00-11:30: Warmup / Free time

11:30-12:00: Organized mock skills session taught by team captains

Adult Learn
to Skate
+ Freeskate Silver Beginner

AL2S: Recreational, little or even no skating experience

FSB: Beginner (some star 1-3 tests) or recommended for skaters who surpass level D on AL2S.

9:50-10:35: Organized lessons taught by registered coaches and team executives

Carpools
Skaters will be organized into carpools driven by student drivers. Pick up and drop off locations will be individualized for each skater based on your student house address. Detailed information regarding pickup location and times will be provided closer to trial dates
